I made the appointment & was impressed with Dr. Herrera's staff. They were kind & understanding to my fears & concerns. I was also told to bring my favorite tape or CD. I hoped that Dr. Herrera was as nice as her staff. When I arrived, I was pleased to find that she was all that her staff was & then some. My husband was allowed to be with me during the treatments. Dr. Herrera asked about prior dental experiences & listened as I told her why I'd not seen a dentist. Before she began any treatment, she explained everything to me in detail. There were no surprises of any kind. She insisted on knowing if I was in pain or discomfort. Was it all right to continue? Did I need more medication? My care & comfort was her #1 priority. She was most accomodating to my no pain requests. I'm a self professed big baby who hates any kind of pain. Dr. Herrera used a lot of topical for me, so I barely felt any of the Novocaine injections. I was never in more than a little discomfort. Dr. Herrera has done deep root cleaning of my entire mouth & a gum graph. I've had very little pain from any of the treatments. Casey Herrera is gentle & caring to all of her patients. I've referred her to three other people because of my treatment. I highly recommend Casey M. Orianna did a very thorough job answering ALL my questions about the pre-operative procedures and helped me also when I had questions afterwards. Missy took the time to review the "code" on the Periodontal Chart. After seeing 4-5 periodontists in my life, you are the only dental team to explain my more in-depth questions and treat me as an intelligent adult with the capability of understanding complex information. In April, 2000 I was referred to your office for a C. T. Graft. During our consultation, sufficient time was spent examining and explaining the operation to me.
